We are excited to launch the most effective, technologically advanced protein powder on the market.
Since our conception, we have been providing nutritionally superior meals and recovery smoothies designed to support the specific needs of athletes’ bodies’. We have been fuelling Olympic Athletes and Extreme Adventures alike. Underpinning our holistic approach to health and performance is the Radix Nutrition Architecture™, or RNA™, for short. This scientific framework is used to increase the overall nutritional value of their products across a broad spectrum of 70+ nutrients, from macronutrients, micronutrients, pre- and postbiotics to a wide range of phytonutrients.
The introduction of our new Whey Protein and Plant Protein powders is the perfect showcase of our ability to advance the nutritional value of a single design parameter included in our RNA™.
Introducing Whey Protein DIAAS Complex™ 1.61.
Made from Ultra-Filtered Whey Protein Isolate, Ultra-Filtered Whey Protein Concentrate & Ultra-Filtered Milk Protein Concentrate, this complex is designed to provide the highest amino acid profile across all Essential Amino Acids and BCAAs with exceptionally high digestibility of DIAAS 1.61 (Disclaimer: We have stated a conservative score of 1.28 on our whey protein packaging due to a delay in receiving results from DIAAS score testing. We can now confirm that a score of 1.61 is accurate for adults). It even outperforms pure Whey Protein Isolate, previously considered the top standard for athletes.
DIAAS is short for Digestible Indispensable Amino Acid Score. It’s the leading scientific method for accessing the human body’s ability to digest protein, which is fundamental to maximising athletic recovery and performance. Through a technical partnership with Fonterra, our R&D team simulated over 50 formulations before finalising their Whey Protein DIASS Complex™ 1.61. This complex also includes a leading amino acid quantity per serving, including 5.9g of BCAAs, 12.6g of EAAs and 2.7g of Leucine.
We have also included proteins and antibodies that are beneficial to athletes. This is because the higher the athlete’s training load, the more important strengthening immunity becomes. While many protein powder brands focus on adequate amino acid levels at low cost, we have focused on achieving higher quality amino acid levels while supporting overall health and performance. Additional proteins and antibodies included are:
Beta-Lactoglobulin: This protein supports muscle building and is packed with binding sites for minerals, water, fat-soluble vitamins and lipids, making it beneficial for a range of physiological functions.
Alpha-Lactalbumin: Scientific research has shown this to support sleep and neurological function by increasing serotonin production. It has also been shown to reduce oxidative stress and muscle soreness, thus allowing athletes to reduce recovery time between training.
Glycomacropeptide: Benefits for athletes include antibacterial, prebiotic, digestion and metabolism support and immune-modulation activities.
Immunoglobulins: These antibodies have antimicrobial activity and have been shown to help neutralize toxins, viruses and infections in the gastrointestinal and respiratory tract.
When designing this protein complex, we wanted the highest quality ingredients on the market, so we partnered with Fonterra. All Whey and Milk-Based ingredients are derived from New Zealand Grass Pastured Cow’s. Our protein powder is also Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, and All Natural, so no artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners.
Introducing Plant Protein DIAAS Complex™ 1.30.
Made from precisely defined concentrations of Yellow Pea Protein Isolate and Brown Rice Protein Isolate, this complex is also designed to provide a complete amino acid profile with exceptionally high digestibility of DIAAS 1.30 ((Disclaimer: We have stated a conservative score of 1.11 on our plant protein packaging due to a delay in receiving results from DIAAS score testing. We can now confirm that a score of 1.30 is accurate for adults), again higher than pure Whey Isolate. The amino acid profile includes 4.8g of BCAAs, 10.2g of EAAs & 2.1g of Leucine.
Mike Rudling, Co-Founder and Head of Product Development at Radix Nutrition, says, “By utilizing the latest scientific research and accessing a deep catalogue of ingredients through our technical partnership with Fonterra, we have been able to completely change the game when it comes to fuelling athletic recovery. We’ve brought a whole new perspective to nutritional design that has allowed us to get closer to perfect. By achieving a class-leading amino acid profile and ensuring exceptionally high digestibility, our Protein Powders are now able to unlock a new level of performance for athletes.”
