Which Radix Meal is Right for you?

Here at Radix, we understand nutrition isn’t “one size fits all”. From high-performance athletes to those simply looking to support everyday health, nutrition needs vary greatly from person to person. Many factors can influence the needs of your diet, from body composition and training demands to personal goals and dietary preferences. Radix provides three different meal range options to help to accommodate your individual dietary requirements, so you can use our products in the way that suits you best.

Original™ Meals and Breakfasts

Most people should seek to maintain a balanced diet, with adequate levels of carbohydrates for energy, protein for muscle growth and repair, and fatty acids for cell and hormone function. Vitamins, minerals, and prebiotic fibres are also incredibly important when it comes to optimising metabolic performance. With this in mind, our goal was to make a nutritionally complete meal range that covers all the bases.

The Original range is designed to provide a balanced nutritional profile, supplying the protein, carbohydrates, fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals your body needs to sustain an active lifestyle. It is suitable for most people, from dedicated athletes seeking performance to those who want to support their everyday health. With 400 and 600 calorie options, the original meal range can easily cater for individual needs and energy demands.

Keto™ Meals

The ketogenic diet involves restricting carbohydrate content to force the body into utilising fatty acids as a fuel source. It is often utilised as a strategy for weight loss [1]. When adhering to a ketogenic diet, daily fat content is high, as it is the predominant nutrient utilised for energy production. Protein levels should remain moderate, and carbohydrates limited as much as possible.

The Keto range provides a good source of protein, vitamins, and minerals whilst emphasising high-quality fats and limiting carbohydrates. This range is perfect for those looking to support their health and performance whilst adhering to a low carb diet. With 400 and 600 calorie options, the Keto meal range can easily cater for individual needs and energy demands.

Ultra™ Meals & Breakfasts

The main component to optimise training and performance through nutrition is ensuring you consume enough calories to offset energy expenditure. Failure to do so can lead to a number of adverse physical and cognitive outcomes, including muscle loss, illness, incomplete recovery, stress, hormonal fluctuations, and reduced sleep quality. Many athletes will expend between 600 and 1200 calories per hour during exercise, increasing their daily caloric needs to 12,000+ calories in the most extreme cases. Nutritional analysis of athletes’ diets has shown that maintaining adequate energy intake is often a challenge [2].

The Ultra range is designed for highly active individuals with increased energy demands. It provides a balanced profile of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals, with higher fatty acid levels to increase the energy density of the meal. The Ultra range is suitable for those undertaking vigorous activities or challenging expeditions. Ultra meals come standard with 800 calories to accommodate greater energy needs.
